Indoor Air Quality CFD assessment

Design of buildings has to follow rules and regulations particularly when it comes to human comfort. Locations and dimensions of buildings relative to each other have an important effect on the wind flow and its effect on the surrounding areas. High-rise buildings can face high wind speeds at the pedestrian level leading to dangerous conditions.

Building ventilation can affect building performance in many ways.  Efficient ventilation and airflow improves occupant comfort and safety, enhances worker productivity, increases equipment performance and longevity, and reduces building maintenance and operating costs.  This is particularly important for laboratories where specific airflow specifications are critical to maintaining safe and efficient research facilities, medical rooms and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Similarly, animal care facilities and holding rooms require strict control of temperature, carbon dioxide levels and odor.

EASTechnology provides building ventilation and airflow consulting and testing services to design and mechanical teams and building owners.  We use computational fluid dynamic (CFD) models to evaluate a wide variety of building ventilation and airflow problems.  We also can provide physical wind tunnel testing if needed.  EASTechnology offers a variety of services including thermal comfort, ventilation efficiency, natural ventilation, fume hood performance, and smoke behavior.

Under the Indoor Air Quality Assessment, We can use our solutions, but not limited, for the following applications:
