Fire and smoke CFD assessment

HOME     <Environmental Solutions <   Fire and smoke CFD assessment
Fire has a very damaging impact (human and/or material losses) when it occurs. Thus, it is very important to accurately simulate this phenomenon in order to avoid any disaster scenario.
EASTechnology uses CFD modeling with specific fire models and wind tunnel testing to evaluate how smoke moves within a building and how wind and external pressures interact with a building.  Working with design teams we can help optimize smoke ventilation systems in order to achieve effective smoke control and reduce on-going operating cost

At EASTechnology, we can model:

We can assess the following:
  • Indoor/outdoor fire spreading
  • Heat release
  • Temperature distribution
  • Effect of ventilation
  • Location of openings
  • Smoke re-entrainment
