Dr. Belamri has over 15 years of experience in the fields of CFD and Aeroacoustics.  He has considerable technical experience relating to the application of CFD for various design and optimization problems, and has extensive knowledge in the fields of aeroacoustics and tubomachinery design.  He is responsible for providing overall technical direction and leadership on CFD and aeroacoustics modeling projects, ensuring that a sound technical product and a high level of service are provided.

Prior to the current position, Thabet worked at Novus Environmental as a senior consultant, providing solutions to all CFD and aeroacoustics related problems.

Before joining Novus, Thabet worked at ANSYS CANADA Ltd from 2001 to 2009 as a senior development and application specialist.   ANSYS CANADA Ltd is a world leader in the development of Engineering Software, its main products being ANSYS CFX, ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS Mechanical.

Thabet’s experience also includes academic positions as a Research Fellow within the Turbo-machinery and CFD Design Group at Cranfield University and an Academic Visitor in the Dynamics Group at Imperial College.  He completed his Ph.D and Postdoctoral research program at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts et Metiers in Paris, France.  He has authored and co-authored over 50 publications for various technical journals and conferences.

Dr. Habiba Bougherara has more than 10 years  experience in material science and is the author of 4 book chapters, more than 50 scientific publications and conference proceedings and 1 patent. Subsequent to her a PDF in the development of medical devices, she joined Ryerson University as an assistant professor.

Dr.Bougherara is one of the pioneers of the use of infrared thermography in the field of biomaterials. She is developing new materials for aerospace, military and biomedical applications. She has acted as consultant for several companies. She has delivered several technical reports and graduated more than 45 students.

Dr.Bougherara won several awards including the prestigious Early Research Award from Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation (ERA-MRI).

Currently Dr. Bougherara is an associate professor at Ryerson and conjunctly an Adjunct professor at the University of Trois Riviere a Quebec.
