Cross Ventilation
HOME <Building Solutions < <Natural Ventilation CFD assessment < Cross VentilationThe openings are located on both sides of the building. The openings can be positioned at the same height or alternated (upper on one side, mid or lower on the other side or vice versa). The air movement is more spread than the single-side ventilation. The air movement can be driven by buoyancy due to the difference of temperature between the inside and the outside. It can also be driven by the wind or both.
