• Waste treatment process design and Analysis : An efficient design of waste treatment tank can play a major role in energy savings. Using CFD, we can assess the following:

• Velocity distribution
• Fluid-solid Mixing
• Tracer distribution in time/space
• Reservoir/storage

• Pumping system design and Analysis: In a pumping system, several issues can appear such as cavitation, flow vortex and jet flow which can be damaging to the system efficiency. To analysis and reduce the effect of such problems, we can assess the following:
• Flow distribution
• Vortex flow
• Jet flow
• Design mitigation.
• Drop shaft flow
• Cavitating flows

• Chemical process analysis: Chemical tracers are introduced in mixing tanks in order to clean/treat the fluid. An efficient chemical treatment depends on how well is the mixing of the chemical tracer inside the tank. Using CFD, we can assess the followings:
• Concentration distributions
• Tracer distribution in time/space
• Effect of different injection
• Odor/air quality
• Water quality disinfection
